The mode most people overlook

For cargo moving within the Gulf, road is usually the sensible answer. It is far cheaper than air and, once you count port handling and customs at both ends, often faster than sea for regional moves. A truck leaving Dubai reaches Riyadh in a couple of days and Muscat overnight.

The complication is the borders. Cross-border trucking in the GCC depends on correct manifests, customs documents and the right permits for the commodity. That is the part we handle — the rate we quote includes the border formalities rather than leaving them as a surprise for the driver.

Equipment

  • Curtainside and box trailers — general cargo, palletised goods
  • Flatbed and lowbed — machinery, steel, vehicles, oversized pieces
  • Refrigerated trailers — food, pharmaceuticals, anything temperature-controlled
  • Full loads (FTL) and part loads (LTL) — a whole trailer, or space on one

Where we run

Regular departures from Dubai to Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam), Oman (Muscat, Sohar, Salalah), Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. Within the UAE we collect and deliver across all seven Emirates, including the free zones.

Road also connects the other modes: cargo landing at Jebel Ali or DXB can be trucked straight on to its final destination in the GCC without being handled twice.

Common questions

How long does a truck take from Dubai to Saudi Arabia?
Riyadh is typically two to three days door to door, Dammam a little less, Jeddah three to four. The variable is the border crossing rather than the driving, which is why documentation is prepared before the truck leaves.
Are border charges included in the quote?
Yes. We quote the border formalities as part of the rate rather than billing them afterwards. If a commodity needs a specific permit or inspection, we tell you at quoting stage.
Can you handle part loads?
Yes. If you do not have enough for a full trailer, we can place your cargo on a consolidated load so you pay for the space you use.
Do you deliver inside the UAE free zones?
Yes — including JAFZA, DAFZA and the others, which have their own documentation requirements that we handle as part of the job.
